4th of July Spectacular

Come out and celebrate the 4th of July at Overlook Park, in White Rock! The event begins at 4pm with music, activities, vendors, and more!

An important item to note for this year’s 4th of July Spectacular Event is that the event will not take place on Spirio Field. They will be happening on the Dara Jones Soccer Field, and surrounding softball and baseball fields. In addition to Spirio Field being closed, the entire north side of Overlook Park will be closed to any kind of traffic (pedestrian and vehicle).

Parking will not be allowed in the Park. Only Handicapped Parking, will be available in Overlook Park next to the concession stand biulding. All attendees must either walk or bus into the park.

Grills will not be allowed in the park this year, due to the recent work done to the fields and the current fire restrictions. 

Matchbox Twenty Too, a Matchbox Twenty tribute band will be the main concert for the evening beginning at 7pm, and and this year's event will include a drone and firework show, beginning at 9pm.  

The Atomic City Transit will be running in support of this event from 3:00pm – 10:30pm, with pick-up locations at the Lemon Lot, and the White Rock Visitor Center. Parking is available at Sullivan Field, Jock Lot, and Los Alamos High School main parking lot, for event attendees to park in order to take the shuttle.

• 5:00pm – Radio Blast
• 7:00pm – Matchbox Twenty Too
• 9:00pm – Drone Show
• 9:15pm - Fireworks
• 9:30pm – Event concludes

When

Location

Spirio Field and the entire north side of Overlook Park will be closed for access. Event activies will happen in Dara Jones Socer Field and other softball/baseball fields.
