Note: all routes run Monday through Friday with the exception of our Seasonal Bandelier Shuttle service. Express routes 7 through 11 run only during the normal school season on school days. Summer Concert routes run on Fridays when the Summer Concert series is playing at Ashley Pond

Route Details

Route 6 will now deviate to Tsikumu Village on its outbound trip upon request! You may simply request this of the operator; there is no need to call Dispatch. Please make the request no later than when passing the ball fields on North Mesa, so the operator may prepare for the left turn into Tsikumu Village. The bus will follow the same path and use the same bus stop as on the inbound trip. For more information call (505) 661-7433.

Route 2M now has an on-demand bus stop at La Vista Dr & Mirador Blvd. Call us at 661-RIDE(7433) to request a pick-up, or let your driver know you would like to be let off at this stop. Route 2M is due at this location approximately 26 minutes past the hour every hour from 6:26 am to 7:26 pm.

Route 12 - Bandelier Shuttle is a seasonal service that is operated in partnership with the National Park Service. In 2026, Atomic City Transit will run specific service days from March to October. Check out Bandelier's National Park Service for out of season information. 

Friday Night Concert Series Shuttle: Beginning Friday May 22nd, Atomic City Transit will begin service to and from Ashley Pond for the summer concert events. Concerts will run from 6:30pm to 9:30pm from May 22nd to August 28th. Shuttle services will be provided for North Community and North Mesa every 30 minutes and White Rock every hour. The last shuttle will depart for North Community and North Mesa at 9:35pm and to White Rock at 9:40pm.  

Regional Services

Afternoon Express routes operate on school days only and are open to the general public. See the ACTracker for Routes 7-11, or view printable routes and schedules.

New Mexico Park & Ride operates three intercity routes into Los Alamos:

  • Green Route travels to/from Espanola
  • Blue Route travels to/from Pojoaque and Santa Fe
  • Purple Route travels to/from Albuquerque

North Central Regional Transit District (RTD) operates the "Blue Bus" between Los Alamos and Pojoaque/Espanola. Call (866) 206-0754, or go to the RTD website, for route and schedule information.
