Health Council extends health care survey to non-residents

Recently, the Los Alamos County Health Council conducted a Health Care Quality and Accessibility survey of county residents that closed in early October. As the next phase of the project, the Health Council is extending the survey to non-residents. The purpose is to collect information from individuals who work, worship, or otherwise spend significant time in Los Alamos and use Los Alamos County health-related services. The survey closes this Friday, Oct. 25.

How to Participate

The survey is available exclusively online at www.bit.ly/LACHealthSurveyNR. Health Council representatives emphasize that the perspectives of non-residents are equally important as those of residents in understanding and improving the county’s health care system.

Why Participation Matters

Individuals living outside the county, but utilizing health services within the county bring a different perspective. This feedback can help influence the improvement of these services, and inform future health programs, policies, and the development of the Los Alamos County Comprehensive Health Plan. According to Health Council representatives, input of every individual who contributes to the community is valued.

Survey Deadline

The online survey will remain open until Friday, October 25, and all eligible participants are encouraged to complete it as soon as possible.
