Project Overview

This project includes the renovation of the East Park basketball court and the North Mesa tennis/pickleball courts.

Scope of Work:

• Demolition of existing courts, fencing, and related infrastructure

• Construction of new courts on post-tension concrete slabs over engineered fill

• Installation of new court surfaces and chain-link fencing at both locations

• Construction of a new asphalt parking lot at North Mesa Park

• Installation of ADA-compliant parking at East Park

• Minor utility work for water and power

• Drainage and grading improvements around courts and parking areas

April 2025 Progress

• East Park: Demolition is underway; crews are hauling out existing materials in preparation for new base material.

• North Mesa: Work has begun on digging footings and hauling in material to establish a compacted base.

June 2025 Progress

• East Park: The concrete slab for the basketball court at East Park has been successfully poured and sidewalks around the court have also been completed.

• North Mesa: LA Landscape is currently digging the footer in preparation for the concrete slab.

The anticipated completion date for this project is September 30, 2025. We’ll continue to share updates as construction moves forward.
