Due to ongoing dry conditions and prevailing high winds, Fire Marshal Colorado Cordova of the Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) has enacted fire restrictions to Stage 1, effective April 28, within the boundaries of Los Alamos County to safeguard public health and safety, as well as protect lands, structures, natural and historical artifacts. Overall, the project has been completed. Some detailed work has been extended into the winter. The restrooms have been set up at their respective sites and will be ready for use when the season begins this spring. Maintenance duties have been transferred to the County golf staff.
