Due to ongoing dry conditions and prevailing high winds, Fire Marshal Colorado Cordova of the Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) has enacted fire restrictions to Stage 1, effective April 28, within the boundaries of Los Alamos County to safeguard public health and safety, as well as protect lands, structures, natural and historical artifacts. Join the Los Alamos County Parks and Open Space Division to provide feedback for the proposed Brewer Arena Renovation. The project is to evaluate the structure and ensure the facility meets the American with Disabilities (ADA) Title II requirements. This facility was identified in the Community Services Department’s Integrated Master Plan and the ADA Audit and Transition Plan. Wilson & Company will be there to listen to input regarding design improvements to the Brewer Arena grandstand, announcer’s booth, parking, restrooms and ADA compliance.
