The Planning and Zoning Commission is established to advise County Council regarding planning and zoning for the County pursuant to NMSA 1978, § 4-57-1 and for promoting the general welfare of the citizens of the County per Chapter 8, Article IX Los Alamos County Municipal code. Their role includes the coordinated, comprehensive, orderly, and harmonious physical development of the County in both short and long term.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend the meetings as noted below and provide public comment either in person or over Zoom
