Test of Emergency Alert System

Los Alamos County Emergency Management will conduct a test of the County’s emergency notification system, Everbridge, on Friday, April 24, 2026. This test is part of our ongoing efforts to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of our emergency communication tools and to familiarize the public with how alerts are delivered.

During the test, community members who are registered with Everbridge may receive a test notification via text message, email, and/or phone call, depending on their selected alert preferences. The message will be clearly labeled as a test and will not require any action.

We encourage residents who do not receive the test alert to confirm their registration and contact preferences within the Everbridge system. Sign up today by texting LOSALAMOS to 888777.
