Emergency Management OEM provides resources for preparedness for weather, fire, pandemic and other emergencies within and around Los Alamos County.
Fire Department Services The department provides fire suppression, emergency medical services, technical rescue, hazardous materials mitigation, aviation rescue, fire prevention, fire investigation, code enforcement, public education, and domestic preparedness planning and response.

Sheriff The Sheriff is an elected official and is responsible for management and oversight of Sheriff duties primarily sex offender registry.
