Los Alamos County is pleased to announce that four Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have signed contracts to provide service on Atomic Fiber once the county-owned community broadband network has been built. The four ISPs are XMission, Anthem BroadbandIntellipop, and LANet. Residents and businesses can choose whether to switch to an ISP using the new open access network once it becomes available in their area.

Network construction is anticipated to begin this spring. Service is expected to be available in initial locations Fall 2026, with the full network and service available by 2030.

Visit the county’s Atomic Fiber web page for additional information about the community broadband network.
