Communications & Public Relations team

The Communications & Public Relations team is dedicated to informing, educating and involving citizens and employees about County services, projects, initiatives, policies, and goals. Additionally, we promote a culture of open communication and collaboration to foster exceptional customer service. We support all of the County's communication efforts and empower all of the County's public communicators to provide the best and most timely information possible.

  • Internal and external communications: surveys, focus groups, newsletters, and trainings
  • News media communications: news releases, media inquiries, press kits, and media tours
  • Graphic design, photography & videography
  • Digital communications: website, social media, videos, and photograph galleries
  • Communication during an emergency situation involving the County

The team is located inside the County Manager's Office on the third floor of the Municipal Building in downtown Los Alamos. Feel free to stop in if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

Residents voted to Give A Shift for climate action

Los Alamos County residents have selected the official tagline “Give a Shift” for the County’s upcoming climate action outreach campaign. With this tagline, the campaign will explore how shifting the choices you make can protect the environment, improve your family's health, reduce costs, and continue a strong sense of community.
