APPB Special Meeting to reconsider "The Boys of Pajarito Plateau"

The Art in Public Places Board (APPB) will hold a Special Meeting on April 15, 2025, in the Municipal Building Council Chambers (1000 Central Ave., Los Alamos) at 5:30 p.m. to reconsider the purchase of the oil painting The Boys of Pajarito Plateau by artist Jeff Sigler. A Zoom option will be available for those unable to attend in person.

County Council addressed a citizen petition regarding the oil painting at the March 25 Regular Session, requesting the approval of the purchase for the public collection. Council directed staff to take the piece back to APPB for further consideration.

As part of their ongoing commitment to community engagement, APPB encourages all interested parties to participate and share their thoughts on this potential acquisition.
