Due to ongoing dry conditions and prevailing high winds, Fire Marshal Colorado Cordova of the Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) has enacted fire restrictions to Stage 1, effective April 28, within the boundaries of Los Alamos County to safeguard public health and safety, as well as protect lands, structures, natural and historical artifacts. Due to issues caused by the July 22nd power outage, the Aquatic Center's main pool will remain closed until Monday, August 4th, 2025. However, the Therapy Pool will open at 7:00am and the Leisure Lagoon at 8:00am for the week.
The Therapy Pool will be open on Saturday, August 2nd, all day from 9:00am – 3:00pm.
The Leisure Lagoon will be closed starting Saturday, August 2nd, for scheduled maintenance through August 24th.
