Due to ongoing dry conditions and prevailing high winds, Fire Marshal Colorado Cordova of the Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) has enacted fire restrictions to Stage 1, effective April 28, within the boundaries of Los Alamos County to safeguard public health and safety, as well as protect lands, structures, natural and historical artifacts. REDINet, the public Wi-fi network provider for Los Alamos County, is experiencing downtime and is in the process of being restored. County government facilities that provide “LAC Public” Wi-Fi and public areas downtown that provide “Discover LA” Wi-Fi are affected. Currently, there is no estimated time for resolution. The County will provide updates as more details become available.
