Los Alamos County will host a Roofing Code & Permitting Essentials workshop for contractors from 2-3 p.m. on Friday, April 24. Staff will be available after the workshop to answer questions.
The workshop, presented by the Community Development Department Building & Safety Division, is designed specifically to help contractors better understand roofing requirements and streamline their projects. The workshop will cover when permits are required, how to navigate the application process, and the key building codes that ensure safety, durability and compliance. Participants will also learn about inspections, common pitfalls and best practices to help roofing projects move efficiently from start to final approval.
