Los Alamos County Emergency Management invites the community to participate in a short survey designed to help determine how many residents may require additional assistance during an evacuation. This includes individuals with access and functional needs such as mobility limitations, medical requirements, communication barriers, or lack of reliable transportation. The survey is available online and will remain open until Sunday, September 21 at 11:59 p.m.
Emergency Manager Beverley Simpson shared, “Participation in this survey will directly enhance our ability to serve the whole community and strengthen overall preparedness.”
By gathering this information in advance, Emergency Management can better plan for evacuations and allocate resources accordingly. Responses to the survey are anonymous, and results will be used in aggregate for emergency planning only.
