Due to ongoing dry conditions and prevailing high winds, Fire Marshal Colorado Cordova of the Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) has enacted fire restrictions to Stage 1, effective April 28, within the boundaries of Los Alamos County to safeguard public health and safety, as well as protect lands, structures, natural and historical artifacts. Please be advised that the Los Alamos County Golf Course will experience a scheduled power outage on June 16th for necessary electrical maintenance. The outage will last most of the day, and as a result, both the Golf Pro Shop and Cottonwood on the Greens restaurant will be closed. Normal operations will resume on June 17th.
