Pinon Park Pool Opening Date: Saturday, May 23, 2026!

An Outdoor Pool That Doesn't Require Membership

The Los Alamos County Community Services Department secured a lease with Piñon Park Pool Property owner, Attack Research, to operate the pool from May 2026 through October 2026. Piñon Park Pool is open to the public, and does not require a membership to utlize the facility. Additionally, Aquatic Center pass holders may also use there passes at the Piñon Park Pool.

Lap Swimming

Piñon Park Pool has 6 lanes

Monday - Friday, 7am - 9am
Monday - Friday, 6pm - 7pm
No lap swimming on Saturdays

Swimming Information:

Groups of 30 individuals or more need to contact the Aquatic Center Cordinator Faith Lopez, two (2) weeks in advance to make prior arrangements and ensure availability.
Lockers are not available at this location.
Please bring your own towels
Glass is not allowed within the facility.
Outside food and beverages are allowed, but must be kept under the pergola.
There will be a limited items and snacks available for purchase at the pool.

Access by steps, Hydro-lift, and ladders.

Birthday Parties:

The pool is available for birthday parties on Saturdays, from 3pm - 5pm, for non-exclusive use. Please contact the Piñon Park Pool or the Aquatic Center for availability. Additional birthday party information can be found here.
