Canyon Rim Trail Phase III The Canyon Rim Trail Phase III Project is progressing westward from the Smith's location to 20th Street. The project is currently being divided into sub phases to facilitate progress and completion. Phase A will establish a connection to 15th Street, covering approximately 0.25 miles, while Phase B will extend the connection to 20th Street, with the final alignment still pending.
Finch Street Extension and Road Improvements Design and construct an extension of Finch Street from the end of 35th Street through the current Los Alamos Medical Center parking lot to Trinity Drive (NM 502). The project will reconfigure the LA Medical Center parking lot, relocate the driveway east
Trinity Drive Safety and ADA Improvements (Oppenheimer to Knecht St.) This project is the result of a 2016 road safety audit and has been awarded Federal Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) funding by NMDOT.
Downtown Los Alamos and White Rock Transit Center Study The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the feasibility, benefits, and costs of locations within Los Alamos County (Downtown Los Alamos and White Rock) that could serve as a transit center/transit-orientated development to enhance transit services for the commuters and residents.
Bathtub Row Reconstruction Project The project consists of a full reconstruction of Bathtub Row between Central Avenue and Peach Street, Nectar Street from Peach Street to 15th Street, and a portion utility work on 15th St. to Iris Street.
Betty Ehart Renovations and HVAC Replacement The Betty Ehart Senior Center requires renovations, improvements, and adaptations that are consistentwith those of an aging building with 26 years of operation.
Los Alamos Little Theater Abatement and Fire Suppression The purpose of this project is to plan, design, and install Fire Suppression System and to include upgrades or replacements of related plumbing and electrical systems.
NM4 Crossing and Piñon School Trail Improvement Projects This project includes the design and construction of both new and reconstructed multi-use trails along the south side NM4 between Sherwood Blvd. and La Vista Dr. within Piñon Park in White Rock. The planned improvements will enhance connectivity and safety for pedestrians and cyclists.
North Mesa & North Community Pavement Preservation Project The scope of work for this pavement preservation project is to perform preventative maintenance of the existing asphalt pavement in the North Community and North Mesa Areas. This project will enhance the durability and maintain the service life and Pavement Condition Index (PCI) of the streets in both communities.
