Fourth of July holiday trash and brush collection

The Los Alamos County Environmental Services Division (ESD) would like to remind residents of the upcoming refuse and brush collection schedule for the Fourth of July holiday.

Curbside Collection Schedule

- If your regular collection day is Thursday, July 2, 2026, there is no change to your refuse and brush collection. Please place your carts at the curb as you normally would.

- If your regular collection day is Friday, July 3, your refuse and brush collection will occur tomorrow, Wednesday, July 1. Please place your carts at the curb tomorrow morning, by 8 a.m. to ensure collection.

Facility Hours

The Eco Station and Overlook Convenience Center will remain open on Friday, July 3, and will be closed on Saturday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Both facilities will resume their normal business hours on Sunday, July 5.
