The Inaugural Co-op Summer Showcase opens Friday, May 15th, at 6 PM with the rock band Baggage Claim. Concerts are located at Co-op Park at 1010 Central Ave at the Los Alamos Schools Credit Union. This free concert series offers music from local musicians at an outdoor venue as opening acts for the main Friday concert series. This is a true community concert series that features only local musicians. The purpose of this series is to build community spirit and raise awareness of a new non-profit organization that will bring local music events, such as this series and the Winter Rock Festival. Shows are Friday evenings, typically from 5:45 – 6:30. A short walk will bring you from this stage to Ashley Pond in time for the larger concerts.
