23rd Annual Clean Up Los Alamos Day

Los Alamos, New Mexico—Los Alamos County Environmental Services invites the community to participate in the 23rd annual Clean Up Los Alamos Day on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Individuals and groups are encouraged to choose a favorite park, walking trail, neighborhood or other community area and help collect litter and beautify Los Alamos.
To participate, register online at Register for Clean Up Los Alamos Day. All individuals and groups must complete a waiver of liability. Waivers will be emailed after registration and may be scanned and returned to SolidWaste@losalamosnm.gov or delivered in person to Environmental Services. Registered participants will be able to pick up free trash bags, gloves, trash pickers, and safety vests beginning Tuesday, September 15, at Environmental Services, 3701 East Jemez Road.
Los Alamos County residents will also receive free disposal at the Eco Station and Overlook Convenience Center on Saturday, September 19, by showing proof of County residency. Community members are encouraged to take part in this annual effort to reduce litter and keep Los Alamos clean and welcoming.
