MRA and LEDA Program Informational Session

Los Alamos County will host a hybrid informational session on Thursday, October 8, at 1 p.m. in County Municipal Building Room 110, to provide local businesses, property owners and community members with an overview of the County’s Metropolitan Redevelopment Area (MRA) and Local Economic Development Act (LEDA) programs.

The session will cover how the programs work, eligibility requirements, available incentives and the application process. Staff will also explain how MRA and LEDA programs can support local business investment, redevelopment and economic development projects.

The White Rock Town Center MRA was designated in 2023, followed by the East Downtown Los Alamos MRA in September 2025. The County also offers incentives under the Local Economic Development Act (LEDA), including grants up to $100,000 under the Retail LEDA program.

Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn how these programs may apply to current or future projects.
