Under the State of New Mexico's Inspection of Public Records Act, any individual may request to inspect (and possibly copy) any public records that are the responsibility of Los Alamos County. If you would like to request to inspect procurement records, please visit the County's Records Management site for instructions.

Important highlights of Procurement Code - Los Alamos County Code of Ordinances Chapter 31:
- Sec. 31-233: The county shall have no obligation for payment of goods, services, or construction that were improperly or unlawfully procured.
- Illegal acts: It is unlawful to offer, solicit, demand, accept or agree to accept, give or agree to give gratuities or kickbacks. County Code and New Mexico statutes impose criminal, civil and administrative penalties for bribes, gratuities, and kickbacks.
