September 24, 2026: The Los Alamos County Justice Center continues to experience issues from a power outage that began on September 23. The outage is preventing access to in-person court services at this time. Court staff will provide services remotely to the extent possible until Monday, September 28.

Camp May Road will be closed to all access, Monday through Thursday, while crews install fiber optic cables from August 17 to September 3.
“We continue to have cars, bikers, and hikers accessing Camp May Road during periods of closure. This time, we will have to close the gate at the bottom of Camp May Road to prohibit access. Crews will be laying out and installing fiber cable in the roadway and we absolutely cannot risk damaging to the cables during this process,” said Senior Project Manager Ernesto Gallegos.
Camp May Road will be open Fridays through Sundays during the August 17 to September 3 time frame. Road access will also remain open during Labor Day, Monday, September 7, but will close again by Tuesday, September 8.
