Diamond Drive lane closure at Pueblo Complex

A water main break along Diamond Drive at the entrance of Pueblo Complex has caused the northbound right lane to be closed through the weekend. Crews are continuing to repair the damaged section. Please use caution.

Olympic pool opening delayed due to manufacturing of pumps and filters

Los Alamos County has recently learned that a delay in manufacturing custom pump and filtration parts has caused the reopening of the Olympic-sized pool to be pushed back to January 2027.

Water line break at Diamond Drive and Pueblo Complex

DPU crews are on scene and working to fix the break. Currently, the northbound right lane is closed on Diamond Drive.

Update as of 2:30 p.m.: leak is temporarily stopped and crews will repair starting at 7 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 18.

County to hold Virtual Job Fair September 30

Los Alamos County will hold a Virtual Job Fair on Wednesday, September 30, from 9 a.m. to noon. Managers from the Emergency Communications Center/Dispatch, Recreation, and Atomic City Transit will be available to conduct immediate interviews. Interested candidates should register to receive the Teams link and a calendar invitation for the event.
