Customer Service Fair

In appreciation for their customers and in observance of national Customer Service Week, the staff of the Los Alamos County Customer Care Center will host their annual customer service fair on Wednesday, October 7. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the lobby of the Los Alamos County Municipal Building at 1000 Central Ave.

 

The public is invited to stop by for refreshments and a variety of giveaways and information on projects, programs and services from various county departments. To recognize the importance of customer service and the people who serve and support customers every day, the U.S. Congress proclaimed in 1992 that Customer Service Week be a national event.  It is celebrated annually during the first week in October.

 

The Customer Care Center is staffed by 10 individuals dedicated to assisting the community with utility-related questions and more. For the customer service fair, Department of Public Utilities will be encouraging customers to enroll in e-billing and automatic payments with a raffle for either a stainless-steel emoji tumbler or a pair of “Agua es Vida” socks.

 

Customers who successfully complete the online form for e-billing at https://ladpu.com/ebill will be entered into the tumbler raffle. Customers who successfully complete the online form for automatic payments (automatic clearing house “ACH”) under https://ladpu.com/pay will be entered into the sock raffle. All forms must be received by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, October 9 (the end of the celebratory week) to be considered for the raffle. Customers without access to the online forms can also stop by the Customer Care Center or call in to enroll.

 

The following additional departments will have tables set up at the customer service fair: Atomic City Transit, Environmental Services, the Assessor’s Office, a DWI station, Information Management (IM), Public Library, Human Resources, County Manager’s Office, and the Aquatic Center.
