About the Project

The Los Alamos Demonstration Garden Renovation and ADA Upgrades project will enhance accessibility and revitalize this community space. The project includes detailed site survey work, conceptual design development, cost estimates, and opportunities for community input.

Why are improvements needed?

The Demonstration Garden is an important educational, ecological, and community resource, but aging infrastructure and accessibility barriers limit how fully the space can serve residents and visitors. The project will help address ADA accessibility needs while supporting the garden's educational mission and long-term sustainability.

How You Can Participate

Community input will help inform the design process. Before conceptual designs are created, the consultant will hold an initial listening session to hear about needs, priorities, accessibility concerns, and ideas for improving the garden.

Information about future meeting dates, times, and locations will be posted here as they become available
