Urban Park Athletic Court Project

This project is currently in its early stages, and we are just initiating the design phase. The construction phase will
take place at a later date. Once the timeline for construction is finalized, the public will be notified of the planned
start and completion dates.

About the Project

The Urban Park Athletic Court Project will focus on improvements to the existing athletic courts at Urban Park.

The project is being developed in accordance with the County's Parks and Recreation planning efforts and accessibility goals. Community feedback will help inform the design and future improvements to the site.

Improvements Needed

The project will address improvements to the athletic courts, including:

ADA accessibility improvements
Improvements to court surfaces and overall usability
Updated amenities and site features
Safety improvements
Site improvements that better support community use

The project was identified as a short-term action item in the 2023 CSD Integrated Master Plan and the 2023 American with Disabilities Audit and Transition Plan.

How You Can Participate

Community input will help guide the design and future improvements to the Urban Park athletic courts. Residents and community members are encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas about the project.

- Share your feedback by completing the online survey. Your input will help the project team better understand community priorities and preferences as the project moves through the design process.

Attend a Community Meeting
- Community listening sessions provide an opportunity to learn more about the project, ask questions, and share your ideas directly with the project team.
