Fall Schedule for Piñon Park Pool and Leisure Lagoon

The fall season is upon us and kids have returned to school, the Los Alamos County Aquatic Center will be changing the schedule for Piñon Park Pool and Leisure Lagoon beginning September 8, 2026.

Piñon Park Pool will be open Mondays-Fridays 12pm-6pm and closed on Saturdays. Leisure Lagoon will be open Mondays-Fridays 9am-7pm and open on Saturdays 9am-5pm.

Public swim lanes will be available at Piñon Park Pool with the following schedule:     

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 6 lanes from 12pm-4pm, 2 lanes from 4pm-6pm     
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: 6 lanes 12pm-4pm, 2 lanes 4pm-4:45pm, and 1 lane 4:45pm-6pm

Los Alamos County Aquatic Center staff will strive to keep Piñon Park Pool open as long as the weather remains warm during the month of September. However, Piñon Park Pools scheduled last day to be open is Friday, October 2, 2026. The Olympic Pool re-plaster project is moving forward. As of this press release, the project is scheduled to be completed at the end of October 2026.
