The Electric Distribution crew is scheduling a two-hour power outage on Friday, August 21 at 9 a.m. to repair equipment damaged by animals.
Residents located between 15th Street and Canyon Road and down to Myrtle Street, along Rim Road, Quartz Street, Pine Street, along Canyon Road and around Manhattan Loop will be without power for up to two hours Friday morning.
Crews were inspecting equipment in a manhole in Pueblo Canyon and found severe damage from rodents prompting a prioritized outage to repair the equipment before it fails.
Linemen will be disconnecting power to change terminations and remove damaged wire.
